“Gu Miao—” Cheng Chu waved at him with a smile, and trotted to him.

The street lamp pulled the girl’s figure into a long shadow, she raised her eyes slightly, and looked at him with bright peach blossom eyes.

“Where did you go just now, I thought you were gone.” She glanced at him angrily, but she was not angry.

Gu Miao’s heart tightened for a while, his Adam’s apple rolled, “I, I-.”

    He stuttered nervously again.

Cheng Chu smiled, looked at his hands that were always behind his back, and asked curiously, “What are you holding in your hands?” The boy’s pale face turned a light red, and he lowered his eyes to look at the girl’s eyes, the hands behind his back clenching and unclenching.

In the quiet winter night, his heartbeat was louder than usual, and his body seemed to be ignited, and the burning blood boiled.

“So mysterious, what is it?” Cheng Chu asked again when she saw that he didn’t move.

The pale yellow light reflected in the black eyes of the young man, he pursed his lips and moved his stiff fingers.

After a while, facing the girl’s bright peach eyes, he blushed and finally stretched out his hands behind his back.

The night wind howled, and a few holly leaves fell slowly.

The young man is holding a bunch of small gypsophila in his hands, like the bright stars all over the sky are adorned in his arms. [1]

“Send it, give it to you.” The young man lowered his head, shaking his hands slightly, and handed gypsophila to the girl in front of him.

The little gypsophila in his hands swayed slightly with his shaking hands, as if the stars were blinking happily.

Cheng Chu felt that something melted in her heart, and a warm feeling flowed to her cold limbs.

She took the bunch of gypsophila in a daze, raised her face and asked, “You just went out to buy flowers?” The boy pursed his dry lips and nodded.

If others have it, she should have it too.

But he didn’t have that much money, so he couldn’t afford expensive bouquets, only a small handful of gypsophila.

Will she hate it? Gu Miao raised his eyes uneasily and bumped into the girl’s smiling eyes.

It was as clear as summer water, making his heart tremble.

“Thank you.” Cheng Chu raised her head and looked straight into the boy’s eyes: “I like it very much.”

Gu Miao’s ears turned red unconsciously, and even the cheeks reddened, the black eyes trembled shyly, like a shy little puppy.

“If you like it, that’s fine.” He lowered his voice, because of his nervousness, the words he said were fragmented.

“You, play well.”   Better than everyone else.

Cheng Chu laughed, her bright peach blossom eyes curved into crescents, she looked at the shy boy in front of her, and there was a happy smile in her voice: “I played the school song accompaniment.”

“I’ll listen to anything you play.” The boy’s eyelashes trembled, but his voice was firm.     Cheng Chu lowered her head and touched the gypsophila in her arms lovingly, and suddenly raised her head and asked, “You haven’t heard me play other songs, do you want to hear it?”

She shrank for a moment, not knowing if it was cold or nervousness.
